Life after Near Death

founder of Red-Slice and author of Reboot My Brain

Maria Ross

What if you had the worst headache of your life and when you woke up, everything about your life had changed? Feeling lucky to still have a life at all, Maria Ross wrote the book, Rebooting My Brain: How a Freak Aneurysm Reframed My Life

In it, she announces some important little-known facts and tells her amazing story of surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm.

FACTS: 1 in 50 people in the U.S. have an un-ruptured brain aneurysm. This condition is most prevalent in the 35–60 age group. Three women have it for every two men. Nearly half of all people who have a rupture die and almost all have disabilities afterwards.

Maria is very lucky. Though she was blind for several weeks after the rupture, she has recovered much of her ability. She has succeeded as a brand-building mentor and her online business, Red-Slice.com, is thriving. Maria meanwhile actively volunteers in the hospital that treated and rehabbed her and she works to increase awareness about brain aneurysms.

Don’t miss Maria’s personal narrative of how her experience felt. She shares the story of her recovery, rehab and how her brain functions now. She also reveals the specific adjustments she has made to adapt her life to a “new normal.”

Her book is fantastic. Free chapters are available on her dedicated website rebootingmybrain.com. Read the details about how Maria reframed her life after being so close to death.
