Turning Difficulties into Inner Peace

author of Difficult People: A Gateway to Enlightenment

Lisette Larkins

Lisette Larkins cared for a woman in the late stage of Alzheimer’s disease and through that challenge found a path to inner peace.

Riding the see-saw of life’s difficulties had prevented Lisette, like most of us, from experiencing a sense of perpetual well-being. She wrote the book, Difficult People: A Gateway to Enlightenment, to share the process she discovered. She learned to quiet the mind and the ego so she could become totally present even in the face of outside disruptions.

This Conversation is full of information about how the mind takes over and controls what we do. It wants to urge us incessantly to be better and achieve more. Dr. Nancy and Lisette share techniques for monitoring what the mind does throughout the day so you can stay at peace in times of turmoil and loss.

If something in your life is causing drama, depression or grief, listen to this empowering conversation. Try Lisette’s exercise to get rid of the “DPs.” Then, learn how the most difficult people and experiences can be just what you need to transform your life — right now.
